The center’s showroom showcases a wide variety of home entertainment and communication products. These products can deliver high-definition video and audio. The store also sells a VDI/DVI to DVI-D converter, which allows customers to connect a home theater system to a computer. This makes it easier to enjoy a superior picture quality.

The Design Center also offers a number of initiatives and programs that are relevant to the Charlotte area. Its new Placemaking Program, launched in 2018, aims to revitalize public spaces throughout the city. Local artists can apply for grants to make their work visible. Local artists can also participate in the program through its Local Artist Pool.

The Design District is located in Charlotte’s historic South End. This 4.5-acre retail center has been redefining the modern retail experience. The South End neighborhood has been booming since the early 2000s and is one of the most sought-after areas in the city for new development. Asana Partners purchased three key properties in the neighborhood, including the former Nebel Knitting Mill. The developers opted to renovate the existing buildings rather than tearing them down.
